Property Excellence Awards open for entries ahead of November event

This week sees the launch of the KPMG Irish Independent Property Excellence Awards Programme 2016.

Unlike previous awards programmes within the sector the integrity and independence of the judging process has certainly captured the attention and interest from all section of the Irish property industry

While only in their second year the awards have firmly established themselves within the sector with over 170 entries received last year across 10 different categories. In the end 47 entries were shortlisted with the winner announced at the awards dinner in the convention centre attended by well over 750 guests.

Jim Clery, Tax Partner and Head of Real Estate at KPMG who are the lead sponsors of the awards programme said "Our team at KPMG were delighted with the strength of the responses to last year's awards. The entry a number of top quality projects and performances demonstrated the fantastic skills and experience present in the Irish real estate sector. The judging sessions featured extensive debate on many of these outstanding submissions and, in some cases very fine calls. In all of the shortlisted cases we saw pride in showcasing excellence and innovation and we hope to see these attributes shine through again in 2016 as our sector moves forward with renewed confidence."

Entries are now open until the September 9 at with the awards taking place on November 10 in the Convention Centre with over 1,100 industry professional expected to attend.
