- VHI Healthcare, in partnership with Centric Health, is to open a Vhi SwiftCare Clinic in the new City Gate development in Mahon, Cork, this month.

- THE Clyde Road Partnership has been granted an extension of the duration of planning permission for an eight-storey mixed use development totalling 16,682 sqm at Rocklands, Leopardstown Road, Dublin 18.
However, Bord Pleanala has refused permission for two 11-storey office buildings totalling 16,100 sqm and 13,707 sqm here.
- The Treasury Holdings development at Spencer Dock -- the largest regeneration project in Dublin -- has won the 2008 award for Outstanding Achievements in Landscaping & Design. The award from The Association of Landscape Contractors of Ireland (ALCI) will be presented to the company in Belfast on October 10.
The winning design -- which can be seen in the courtyards at Spencer Dock -- reflects the landscape of Ireland and focuses on the journey from the countryside to Dublin City.
