HWBC has appointed Tony Waters as its new managing director following a bumper 2014 that saw investment deal flow more than double to over €1bn. HWBC, one of Ireland's main independent property firm, also announced the appointment of Iain Sayer as divisional director and head of asset management, and four promotions to its senior team.

Waters takes over the managing director role from Jonathan Hillyer who is stepping down by rotation, after a three year term in the role. Hillyer will continue to play a leading role in HWBC's investment team.

"I am excited about this new challenge, particularly given ongoing recovery we are seeing in the Irish commercial property market," said Mr Martin.

Mr Waters was one of the founding directors of HWBC in 2005.
