Jurys Inn carries out €9m overhaul of five Irish hotels
JURYS Inn has completed a €9m redesign and refurbishment of five Irish hotels.
Over €5.8m has been invested in its three Dublin properties in Christchurch, Custom House Quay and Parnell Street, while €1.8m and €1.6m were spent updating Jurys Inns in Galway and Cork.
The Irish investment programme forms part of an extensive €31m refurbishment programme being rolled out by the hotel group. Jurys Inn chief executive John Brennan said the refurbishment extended beyond the cosmetic, and included free wifi.
"We intend to continue investing in further growing the Jurys Inn brand experience in the coming years to ensure we maintain our leadership position and reputation for excellent customer service and a great hotel experience for our all guests," said Mr Brennan.
Jurys Inn has over 7,000 rooms across 30 hotels in Ireland, the UK and the Czech Republic.
Jurys employs about 360 people in Ireland and around 2,000 across the group.
Jurys Inn completed a significant restructuring last year, which substantially reduced debt and strengthened the group's balance sheet.
The company's last reported turnover was €183.6m for the year to the end of 2012.
