Financial services lead office take-up
Office leasing transactions of 183,630 sq m were signed in the Dublin market in the first nine months of this year, according to the latest quarterly report on the sector from CBRE.
Forty-seven individual lettings occurred in Dublin in the third quarter compared to 121 in the first six months of the year; 23 of the 47 transactions extended to less than 465 sq m (5,000 sq ft).
Financial services tenants accounted for 36pc of take-up in Dublin in the latest quarter while tenants in the computer and high-tech sector accounted for 20pc of office transactions signed in the period. The public sector meanwhile accounted for 15pc of leasing activity in the Dublin office market.
