A prime residential development site on the Dundrum Road, Dundrum, Dublin 14 has been brought to the market by CBRE for a guide price in excess of €400,000.

Extending to 0.1 hectares (0.275 acres), the land is ideally located within walking distance of Dundrum village and in close proximity to Goatstown (3.8 km) and Dublin City Centre (7.6 km).

The site falls under the Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Development Plan 2016-2022 and is zoned Objective A — ‘to protect, provide and improve residential amenities’.

The land accommodates yard space which is currently tenanted while a portion of the property is occupied by a bungalow.

The surrounding area benefits from a number of facilities and amenities including schools, shops, restaurants, bars and parks.

The area is also well served by public transport via the Luas at Windy Arbour (750m), the Dart at Sydney Parade and a Quality Bus Corridor (QBC) which runs along the Dundrum Road.

The property is also located within close proximity to a number of amenities such as the Dundrum Town Centre and a number of golf courses including Milltown Golf Club and Castle Golf Club.

Elsewhere in the capital, JLL’s development land department has brought three development sites at Northern Cross near Malahide, north Dublin to the market.

The sites are located within a ‘Strategic Development and Regeneration Area’ (SDRA) which means they could provide a variety of end uses.

Planning permission had previously been granted for 102 apartments and retail on one of the sites. The three sites extend to a total of 2.92 acres and JLL intend to offer them for sale separately or as a single lot.
