Aramark Property appoints veteran Phillips as new MD
Louise Phillips has been appointed as managing director of Aramark, the property and facilities management company.
Philips has worked in commercial property and asset management for over 25 years both here in Ireland and in the United Kingdom.
She also has wide- ranging experience in property development, lease re-gears, service charge analysis and challenge; and in dealing with all aspects of landlord and tenant relationships. In taking up her new position, Philips will, as part of her role, be responsible for Aramark's property division.
It employs 120 people and manages office, retail, residential, leisure, industrial, and mixed use developments covering over 28 million sq ft of buildings, with a combined rent roll of approximately €325m a year.
Notable clients include retail schemes such as the Dundrum Town Centre in Dublin to the English Market in Cork; major office developments such as Georges Quay, the Irish Life Centre, and various parts of the IFSC in Dublin.
It also handles all IDA estates throughout Ireland, as well as large residential and mixed-use developments.
In the area of retail, members of the Aramark team have managed or led the development of over 50 shopping schemes across Ireland, and have managed the only three Irish centres to have won European Shopping Centre of the year.
In the case of the Dundrum Town Centre, Aramark has played a pivotal role in the scheme's operation since its opening in 2005.
The centre, which is owned by a partnership consisting of UK retail giant Hammerson and German insurer, Allianz, comprises some 115,500 sq m of retail, 11,700 sq m of offices, and features over 100 shops, 38 restaurants and cafes, two bars, a nightclub, theatre, and 12-screen cinema.
