A team from KPMG triumphed in the WK Nowlan Real Estate Advisors' 'Battle of the Bikes' cycle challenge to raise funds for Crumlin Children's Hospital. The KPMG team pipped law firm Eversheds to win the team event.

The prize for the winner of the best individual male went to Pól O Maolagáin from Mulcahy, McDonagh and Partners, whilst best individual female was won by Jenny Barrett from CHQ.

Over €20,000 was raised from the event held at CHQ, and will be donated to CMRF Crumlin, the fundraising body for Our Lady's Children's Hospital, Crumlin.

As many as 20 teams from companies including AIB, Arthur Cox and Kennedy Wilson took part in the Rollapaluza fixed rig sprint cycle challenge. Rollapaluza is a new cycling event concept that allows teams to compete on a fixed rig whilst spectators and fellow competitors cheer them on as they compete to see who can be the fastest over a 500 metre sprint.

WK Nowlan Real Estate Advisors managing director Killian O'Higgins commented: "We've had an exhausting but fun evening that has raised a substantial sum for a very good cause".
