Up to five million birds may be culled in England
Up to five million birds may have to be culled in England as a result of the bird flu outbreak in Suffolk.
The turkeys, chickens, geese and ducks are all in the immediate area around Redgrave, where the deadly H5N1 strain of the virus has infected a poultry farm.
An estimated 25 million birds are being kept in the larger "at risk" zone, which covers parts of Norfolk.
However, farmers groups insist the outbreak won't affect supplies of turkeys for Christmas.
