Paul Stirling's unbeaten 65 steered Ireland to a series-winning eight-wicket victory over Kenya in their second Twenty20 match in Mombasa.

Stirling's knock saw Ireland beat Kenya's total of 131 for seven with 15 balls to spare to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-game series.

The 21-year-old hit nine boundaries from his 52 balls and shared an opening stand of 63 with Ireland captain William Porterfield.

Kenya had won the toss and chose to bat, with opener David Obuya top-scoring with 28 from their 20 overs.

Ireland's bowlers shared the wickets, with Stirling claiming two before his match-winning score eased Ireland to a total of 132 for two.
