Liverpool will have to play their upcoming Champions League clash against Atletico Madrid at a neutral venue following a ruling by UEFA today.
European football's governing body has fined the Spanish side €150,000 for racist abuse of Marseille players earlier this month.
Atletico have also been handed a three-match stadium ban due to crowd trouble and lack of organisation at the same match.
The move will cause major disruption for Liverpool fans who had arranged to travel to Madrid for next week's tie.
