Irish sides avoid Man City in UEFA Cup draw
Tuesday July 01 2008
Both Cork City and St Pat's have missed out on a lucrative but daunting tie with Manchester City in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Cup.
St Pats will be away to Latvian side Olimps in the first leg, while Cork play host to Finnish side FC Haka in the first leg of their tie.
For their part, Manchester City have been given an easy draw, with Mark Hughes' side travelling to the Faroe Islands to face EB Streymur.
