Oulart battle back for victory

Oulart-the-Ballagh battled back to see off Ballyhale Shamrocks

Wexford champions Oulart-the-Ballagh came from behind to score a 1-11 to 1-10 win over Ballyhale Shamrocks of Kilkenny in the Leinster Club SHC semi-final at Wexford Park.

Shamrocks led by 1-3 to no score in the early stages after Colin Fennelly netted a goal.

But Oulart played their way into the game, and scores from Darren Nolan and Frank Cullen brought them into contention.

Garrett Sinnott fired in a goal, but they trailed by 1-9 to 1-6 at the break.

Ballyhale lost Henry Shefflin to an ankle injury, and the Wexford men staged a strong finish.

Nicky Kirwan brought them level, and in a gripping finish, Eoin Moore slotted the winning point to set up a clash with Kilcormac Killoughey of Offaly in next Sunday's final.
