O'Mohany to make Kerry return

Thursday July 29 2010

Aidan O'Mahony has been recalled to the Kerry team for Saturday's All-Ireland SFC quarter-final against Down at Croke Park.

It will be O'Mahony's first appearance in this season's championship. He missed the early rounds due to a self-imposed exile. He quit the panel at the end of the National League for personal reasons, but returned before the Munster final against Limerick.

He comes in at right half back in place of the suspended Tomas O Se. Micheal Quirke has shaken off a calf injury, and starts in midfield alongside Seamus Scanlon, with Anthony Maher the player to lose out.

And Darran O'Sullivan continues to deputise for the suspended Paul Galvin at right half forward.
