Woman badly hurt in Dublin attack

A woman suffered serious injuries in an attack at a house in the Rialto area of Dublin
A woman has suffered serious head injuries in an assault in Dublin.
The 28-year-old victim was attacked at a house on Ruben Walk, Rialto, in the early hours of Sunday morning.
She was taken to St James's Hospital and transferred to Beaumont Hospital, where she remains in a serious condition.
A 26-year-old man, believed to be her boyfriend, was arrested on Sunday evening by investigating gardai.
He is being questioned in Kevin Street garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
A Garda spokesman said the scene was preserved for a technical examination.
