Teenager dies from injuries sustained in Dublin crash

A 16-year-old boy has died from injuries he sustained in a road accident in Dublin city centre over the weekend.

The boy was one of two teenagers who were injured when their bicycle collided with a car on Parnell Square on Saturday night.

He lost his fight for life at Beaumont Hospital last night.

The second teenager's injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
