Teenage cyclist dies after colliding with van in Newbridge

A 19-year-old man has died in hospital from injuries he sustained in a Co Kildare road accident on Saturday night.

The teenager was riding a bicycle between the front gates of Newbridge College and the College Orchard roundabout when he collided with a van.

He died of his injuries yesterday at Naas General Hospital.
