Drivers unions vote for proposal to end bus strike
Dublin Bus services are set to return to normal from tomorrow morning.
Drivers have voted to end a week-long picket at the Harristown Depot, which has left thousands of people in the north of the city and county without buses since Monday.
A formula aimed at ending the dispute was put forward last night by the Labour Court.
Members of the NBRU union still have reservations about the compromise, which may lead to some disruption tomorrow.
They have asked the management not to introduce the two new routes at the centre of the row until Wednesday morning.
But SIPTU Spokesman Willie Noone says his union's members are satisfied with the compromise:
"The members have accepted the labour court recommendations. We have got a lot of the issues we had wished to address in the recommendations and the members have accepted that. So we will expect that the new routes and the normal routes will resume tomorrow.
