Manufacturing firm to shed up to 30 jobs in Shannon
Up to 30 workers are set to lose their jobs at a manufacturing company in Co Clare.
John Crane Ireland has announced plans to move its manufacturing facility from Shannon to Mexico.
The measure will take effect from April.
The company, which employs more than 120 people in Shannon, is now entering negotiations with SIPTU to work out the details of a voluntary redundancy package for workers.
