BCI greenlight sale of Today FM to Denis O'Brien's Communicorp
The Broadcasting Commission of Ireland has approved the sale of Today FM and Highland Radio to Denis O'Brien's Communicorp group.
However, it won't allow the sale of Dublin station FM104 to go ahead.
The BCI said it was not satisfied that Communicorp would not hold an undue amount of the communications media in Dublin city and county if the sale went through.
It's unclear now how much will be paid for the two EMAP stations.
