Biker killed in Westmeath crash
A motorcyclist has been killed in a road crash, gardai said
A motorcyclist was killed when his bike hit a wall.
The single vehicle accident happened at Cornamaddy in Athlone, Co Westmeath, at 7pm on Sunday.
The 22-year-old driver, who was travelling alone, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The scene remains sealed off for a forensic examination and diversions are in place.
Gardai in Athlone have appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
