Two women held after drugs find

Two women have been arrested by gardai investigating a north Dublin crime gang

Gardai investigating a north Dublin crime gang have seized drugs worth 150,000 euro and arrested two women.

Officers from the Organised Crime Unit also recovered what they described as a large amount of cash in the operation.

The money and cannabis resin were seized after the search of a car and a house in Clonshaugh on Friday night.

The two detained women, one aged 40 and the other in her 60s, are being held at Blanchardstown Garda station.
