Two men have been arrested over a gangland-style murder at the Grand Canal more than four years ago.
Darren Guerrine, 21, was found shot dead on a towpath yards from his home in the Bluebell area of west Dublin on February 18, 2008.
Gardai said the two men - one in his late 20s and one in his mid 30s - are being held at Kilmainham and Kevin Street garda stations.
Both can be held for up to 72 hours under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
