Two arrested in McKay murder probe

Police forensic experts at the scene of the fatal shooting in the Longlands Road area of Newtownabbey, Co Antrim

Police investigating the murder of a man near Belfast last month have made two arrests.

Danny McKay was killed on October 25 in a gun attack in Newtownabbey.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland said suspects aged 24 and 51 had been detained and taken to Antrim police station. A man aged 25 arrested on Thursday has been released.

The victim was shot several times by gunmen in his home in the Longlands estate.

His funeral was held on Friday.
