Evacuations after pipe bomb alert

Part of the Shore Road in north Belfast was closed after a pipe bomb was found

Residents in north Belfast have been evacuated after a pipe bomb was found.

Part of the Shore Road was closed and a number of people were told to leave their homes during the alert.

Army Technical Officers removed the device for further examination.

It was discovered near a community centre close to the Whitewell Road.
