A U.S. flag flies at half staff at the White House September 16, 2013 in remembrance of victims of a shooting in the U.S. Navy Yard in Washington. A 34-year-old gunman opened fire at the Navy Yard in Washington in a shooting that left 13 people dead at the busy military installation not far from the U.S. Capitol and the White House. The suspect was identified by the FBI as Aaron Alexis of Fort Worth, Texas.
