As it happened: McEntee family holds seat as Labour vote collapses

THE Meath East by-election was won by Fine Gael's Helen McEntee, who takes seat of her deceased father Shane.

Irish Independent reporter Fiach Kelly was at the count centre all day, when arguably the biggest story was the collapse of the Labour vote.
