Pilots zoom in on theme park ride

Former fighter pilots are to be used to test The Swarm after dummies were left with missing limbs (Jeff Spicer/Thorpe Park/PA)
Former Red Arrows and RAF fighter pilots have been drafted in to test a new ride at a theme park.
Thorpe Park in Surrey took the unusual step after crash dummies were left with limbs missing during a previous test of The Swarm.
Riders are left with nothing above or below them and fall under the wing of a genuine plane wreckage.
Mike Vallis, of Thorpe Park, said: "Such an extreme ride demands extreme testing procedures."
